Le songwriter s?apprête à sortir son cinquième album.
Succédant à Want Two, sorti en 2004, le nouvel opus de Rufus Wainwright intitulé Release the Stars est attendu pour le 15 mai prochain. Il comportera douze titres, et sera le premier album autoproduit de l’Américain.

Avant d’assurer plusieurs concert aux côtés de Cyndi Lauper, Debbie Harry et Erasure, Rufus Wainwright fera une nouvelle apparition en France le 22 mai à Paris (Le Trianon).
