Dearest concert going people/friends-
I am terribly sorry to have to announce a delay in my U.K. and European tour. Due to a huge oversight on the part of numerous people, myself included (we all meant to do the best, but somehow this happened…) i have been overbooked in my commitments in America (my new
record just came out here on June 13th, and it seems that everyone went slightly insane in the process) Due to these prior commitments, i have to postpone my first two U.K. shows for a month (and my Paris show has not found a new date at all, as of yet…) I am so sorry to all who have bought the tickets, and planned their time around these shows. Brighton and Portsmouth are being rescheduled for the end of the tour (end of
July). I have spoken to the promoters/my agents/ my label, and a million other nice people while trying to remedy this situation, and this seemed to be the only way. We are making sure that all the tickets are either honored at the new date, or fully refunded.
Also, we are trying to come up with a small gift for all the people who had tickets, to make up for the
inconvenience. I hope that you can still come to the shows, and that i didn’t mess up your plans too much.
Thank you for your support and see you soon.
Sincerely,
your very apologetic,
regina spektor
