Une sélection forcément très funky.
Le collectif de hip-hop Now Futur a eu la bonne idée de réunir sur une même mixtape les gros tubes de l’époque French Touch aux côtés des originaux dont ils utilisent les samples. George Duke croise Digital Love de Daft Punk, Chic rejoint Lady de Modjo, et Freddie Hubbard retrouve le Deep Burnt de Pepe Bradock. Le résultat est troublant, et permet autant de correspondances que de ramifications sur des tubes que l’on croyait pourtant connaître de bout en bout.
